Monzu wood fired pizza are Darren Cameron and Claire Cameron. Darren has worked for unilever and in the food manufacturing industry many years and was made redundant from” Colman’s Mustard” when the iconic Norwich site closed in early March .He dreamed of starting his own mobile wood fired pizza business for some time after making his own pizza dough at home.Using his redundancy payout he spent the following months developing Monzu with Matthew Amodio.Darrens wife Claire who worked in Interior Design had a clear vision of the brand and its concept.Using influences from the Art Deco era coupled with her fascination of the history behind Neapolitan Food.

The values of Monzu is to use great quality Italian,Local and seasonal ingredients to make authentic Neapolitan style pizzas .Using eco friendly ,sustainable and recyclable materials where possible also with animal welfare at heart .

Darren and Claire’s graphic designer,Steve Gilmour helped to create a dual logo that fuses  the contemporary with high end elements of copper and teal that reflect the beauty and ideals of Monzu.
